Playing varsity tennis for Illinois State University, and having a background in tennis instruction methods for over 20 years, he has been dealing with the many phases of winning strategy and the MENTAL SIDE OF WINNING as it is related to the game since 1979. Receiving extensive training in Neuro Linguist Programing to better gain rapport with clients he realized how NLP could be applied to the arena of tennis instruction and the inner mental belief system, which sometimes chooses either success or failure before the contest even starts.
